Resato’s hose test unit HTU-5000 is ready-to-use and especially designed for carrying out pressure tests on ultra high pressure hoses up to a maximum pressure range of 5.000 bar/72.500 psi, although other objects can be tested as well. The unit has an ergonomic and spacious stainless steel test compartment with cover, which is completely made out of an impact resistant window.

The hose is positioned in the test compartment and connected to a high pressure outlet and return connection. A sequence of hose pre- filling, de-airing, pressurizing and bleeding is performed without opening the cover. The test unit is fitted with a Resato high-pressure pump. It provides continuously variable test pressure settings and easy operation. Pressure build up is automatically stopped when the set pressure is reached. The test pressure is indicated on a calibrated test gauge.

Safety

The Resato HTU hose test unit offers the following standard safety provision

•   Automatic mechanical cover lock, if unit is under pressure.

•   Pressure build up is only possible with closed cover.

•   The cover of the test unit is provided with a fully impact resistant polycarbonate window.
